Infant car seats are nice and portable making it easier to get around with multiples (especially in the winter). It’s true that some people skip over the infant seat and go directly to a bigger, heavier convertible seat for twins, we highly recommend you stick to an infant car seat.
Most stores allow you to make returns within the first year on anything from your registry, but gift receipts will become your best friend. I always err on the side of registering for more with the caveat that you can always return stuff.
